Implementation of Data Protection Management Systems
§ 4g Absatz 1 Satz 1 BDSG: „The data protection officer is to work towards the observation of this law and other regulations concerning data protection.“
To achieve this, it is best to install a data protection management system. For many institutions, the difficulties in enforcing data protection effectively and efficiently mainly lie in establishing a structured approach. Such a system should take into account all problems concerning operational and organizational structures of a generally binding nature.
